I am in my thirties and I've been roleplaying for about 15 years on tumblr and elsewhere. I'm a big fan of anime and video games, love to write and spend time with my animals. Botan is a shinigami, born to Spirit World. She grew up happily before becoming a Ferryman. As a Ferryman, it’s her job to help guide human souls back to Spirit World so that they may be judged for the afterlife. She works closely with Koenma, Spirit World’s prince. When Yusuke was killed suddenly, she was the shinigami charged with greeting him and helping him to pass on. However, when he was given a second chance at life in exchange for becoming Spirit Detective, she was assigned as his assistant. Since then, she has served as a guide and mentor to Yusuke and his team.

  • Primary.  Takes place during or after the events of Yu Yu Hakusho. Botan is a shinigami and assistant to the Spirit Detective Yusuke Urameshi until his dismissal. Can also be used as a modern fantasy verse with no plot connection.

  • Goddess.  Botan is a true goddess of death, living in an old and hidden shrine.

  • Yakuza.  A member of the Enma Family, Botan deals in information gathering.

  • Siren.  Botan is a mermaid, bringing the souls of dead sailors down to the fathomless depths.

  • Genshin Impact.  Botan is a yokai residing on Reikai Island outside Inazuma. She is in charge of ferrying people across the Sanzu River on the island. She does not have a vision but has access to Hydro magic and utilizes her oar as a polearm in battle. She is a 4* support character.

  • Honkai Star Rail.  Botan is a shinigami born on the planet Reikai. She pilots an Astral Ferry to escort souls of the dead from the planets Makai and Ningenkai back to Reikai. She follows the path of Finality and deals Imaginary damage. She is a 4* support character.

  • Magi.  Botan is a magician born in Kina. After discovering her magic, she traveled to Magnostadt Academy in order to study. She has since graduated and now travels on her boat.
